The KRBH is well connected to various services related to alcohol and drug abuse within the greater community and the Northern Ontario region. The Home works closely and in conjunction with different services and agencies (e.g. Detox Centre, psychiatric hospital, addiction treatment centres, community college, Canada Employment Centre, Vocational Rehabilitation Services, Police Services, concerned citizens and employers) in responding to the needs of men suffering from addictions.

Liaison with other agencies is maintained in a number of ways: board members work for or are in some way in contact with various agencies/employers; staff meet with other agency staff; the Home is also a member of the Addictions Treatment Advisory Committee; and the Home utilizes the local College and CEC resources for residents seeking retraining, upgrading and employment opportunities.
